Quality AssuranceThe Quality System of POWER ECONOMY is certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001: 2000. The manufactured equipment are subject to routine tests as required by international standards. In addition, type test certification from independent agencies such as ASTA-UK, IPH-Germany, KEMA-Netherlands has been achieved. Today POWER ECONOMY has a list of over 40 test certificates issued by independent testing authorities. In 2002, a 300KV impulse test laboratory was commissioned. This test facility further compliments Power Economy’s capability to carry out a comprehensive range of tests on electrical distribution equipment such as switchgear, transformers, reactors and capacitors. As a part of continuous development program, Power Economy is in the process of setting up a state-of-the-art Ingress Protection testing laboratory. The client base of Power Economy consists of electrical utilities and their turnkey contractors and industries in the United Arab Emirates, Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and African countries.
